The Gracefully Empowered homepage, with a portrait of Tina Chisaka beside the headline “Gracefully Empowered: Navigating Womanhood with God’s Wisdom”.

The brief

Tina Chisaka had built a readership writing about faith, womanhood and personal growth — but all of it lived on social media, on platforms that decide who sees her work and that compress a long reflection into a caption. She wanted somewhere of her own.

The risk with a personal brand is the template. A site that could belong to any Christian blogger would have undercut the thing that makes her writing land, which is that it sounds like one specific person rather than a category.

The “What You’ll Find Here” section of the Gracefully Empowered site, showing themed cards for Faithful Womanhood, Self-Esteem from a Christian Perspective, Relationships in Christ and Faith and Career.
Writing is grouped by theme rather than date, so a reader arriving from one shared post can find the rest of the thinking on that subject.

Our approach

We started by listening rather than designing. Tina came to us with a feeling for what she wanted rather than a specification, so the early work was conversation — what she writes about, who reads it, and what she wants someone to do after finishing a post.

That set the structure. Themes take precedence over chronology, because a personal blog organised by date buries its best writing within a month. Devotionals, guest posts and testimonials sit alongside as their own destinations rather than as tabs on a single feed.

The palette is warm and deliberately low-contrast, built from blush and clay rather than the stark white a blog template defaults to. Photography of Tina appears early and often: for a personal brand the author is the product, and readers should meet her before they read a word.

The Prayer Journals and Printable Resources section of the Gracefully Empowered site, with two cards offering downloadable journals and printables.
Downloadable journals and printables give readers a reason to return, and give the newsletter something to offer.

What we built

A publishing site built around Tina's voice, with the pieces a working personal brand needs in order to grow an audience it actually owns.

  • Blog architecture organised by theme rather than publication date
  • Devotionals section for shorter, more frequent writing
  • Resource library of prayer journals and printables
  • Free workbook as a newsletter incentive, with subscribe capture site-wide
  • Session booking route for coaching enquiries
  • Guest post and testimonial sections
  • Responsive layouts, with mobile treated as the primary reading context

Results

Tina now has a home for her writing that she owns rather than rents, and somewhere to send people that carries her voice intact. By her own account, readers arrive at conversations already feeling they know her — which is the outcome a personal brand is actually for.

Testimonial

When I came to LofiCode, I had only a feeling of what I wanted my page to feel like. They were patient, asked good questions, and helped me shape it into something that feels like me instead of a generic template. The design reflects who I am and gives me a home to share my story beyond social media. People say they found me through the site and felt like they knew me before we spoke, which is exactly what I hoped for.
